Hi! I am Patrice. I hold a PhD in Mathematics from the African University of Science and Technology, Abuja, Nigeria. Currently I serve as a Lecturer (Assistant Professor) of Mathematics at the Department of Mathematics, Faculty of Science, University of Buea, Cameroon. My work consists in Teaching, Research and Supervision of students Theses. Trained in Nonlinear Functional Analysis and Dynamical Systems, my research so far has been focused on the Mathematical Control Theory of Nonlinear Functional Differential Equations. We use fixed point techniques and Measure of Noncompactness to find sufficient conditions for the Exact and Approximate Controllability of those systems.
Recently, I have developed interest in Data Science and Machine Learning, and have engaged on a journey to self teach this topic. Enthusiastic about computational methods for approximating solutions to problems in dynamical systems and optimization, I want to apply my newly acquired skills in Deep Learning, to approximate solutions of Optimal Control Problems and much more. I am interested in collaborating with others in the field of Dynamical Systems and Optimization using Neural Networks.
